Effective public speaking contains 3 components that are presented logically in order to connect with the audience, let them understand what your speech is and allow them to react to it.

1st Component

The first component is where the gist of your speech lies. Important points in your speech can be presented in any manner as long as it answers three questions:

a. Why – The answer to this comprises the entirety of your speech. It can be summarized in one sentence which serves as a guide for you to stay on the same conversation and not going out of line. Information that you share with your audience is within your summarized sentence.

b. What – This is where the content of your speech belongs. You need to determine and list some points that you want to discuss during your presentation. As a helpful tip, know the amount of time intended for you to stay on the stage. After this, plan the points that you want to tackle. 2nd Component
